High Meadow Infant School required a new single-storey school building to the rear of the existing school, this was to include updates and additions to the existing school externals, new drainage and services, new gabion retaining walling, graded bank to rear of new building.
PTR were contracted to undertake Groundworks and Masonry packages.
The works completed on site consisted of;
- Groundworks including drainage and services, concrete reinforced (foundations, floor slab), gabion walling (retaining wall) and external works (including kerbs, slabs, tarmac, etc).
- Masonry consisting of the construction of substructure and superstructure for proposed new building.
Due to the project being located within the middle of a busy residential housing area, the works were undertaken with precision and due care in order to minimise any disruption to local residents. PTR worked with the main contractor to help mitigate any potential issues throughout the project.
